i can dream
on dreams alone
for quite a while, but at some point
have to open my senses, soak in a new feeling.
sometimes i do not like what i perceive,
but then i´m relieved:
it can´t reach me here,
it was only reality.

I love this and totally identify with the process: dream fueled dreams, living in the inner world because the real one is never as nice as the dream one, periodically having to contact the real world and wishing one didn't.     "I can dream on dreams alone" is the best line, but I also love the end, "It can't reach me here, it was only reality."  I just want to say,  that is exactly it!
