Couldn't find an A rhyme

Nicely done Duke. I enjoyed this. There is a slight metrical hiccup when I read L3 aloud. The accent on "Truth" feels forced and L4 is so melodic, I want to go into it with my tongue on a roll. -  Probably a byproduct of your P.S.

Very broadsideish. Would change title to remove somewhat interrupting "Stop't" -- unrhymed tweet in any case a good sacrifice for keeping in tweet. girdle, perhaps, though old, too weak: something more loving, more violent.

Thanks to both critics - this addresses both critiques (successfully, one hopes).

In later years, titling this "The Vicious Circle Trumped" would have become incomprehensible.  One hopes.
