The Freezer Section
Sodium runs through my veins
I take another bite of pizza-
Look at you
Grease isn’t running down my fingers
Making bracelets around my wrist
It’s not dripping on the paper towel
But that doesn’t matter-
It’s not my fault
The pizza wizards can’t conjure without salt.
In your own, each bone comes alive
the skeleton jangles in its perfunctory sleeve....

The really CRAZY thing about this poem is
I was contemplating on whether or not
to share the word pizza as my favorite word today.
hahaha, then I read this poem, figures.
"It's not my fault" is probably one of the most
interesting lines in the poem, made me smile.
