There's a riddle in the middle; it's a little bit of fun!
If you stumble into trouble then the puzzle's just begun . . .
What awkward word, backward run, secures intoxication?
Do you know what this word is?
Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz?
spell it backwards:
Z Y X W V U T
S R Q P O N M
L K J I H G
F E D C B A
Why thank you officer I will be on my way!

Here's a hunch to our conundrum half a hundred in a hum:
Add some habits, happy accident, have-at-its, and be done!
Which word invert, in slurred tongue, ensures incarceration?
You know what this word is:
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz!
inside out
M N L O K P J
Q I R H S G T
(F U) E V D W
C X B Y A Z
I'm sorry officer, it was a joke! I'm drunk . . .

Very fun little poem.

There was one weird thing though. The first two lines in each stanza have a lovely little rhythm to them, then the third does almost the same but with one extra syllable each time. I'd knock out the "your" before "intoxication" and "incarceration" to make the third line really jive with the first two.

Also,
Add some habits, happy accident, have-at-its, and be done!
I love this line. Such a silly Dr. Seussian take on a DUI test

It's really bad, FU (fuck you) to a police officer.  I think over all I'm saying your odds are better getting pulled over just being courteous and polite.  But belligerence will surely get you trouble
