So maybe pirating days are coming to an end.

Article Wrote:“My assessment is that in two years this type of piracy activity will be completely dead,” Wadsted said.

That's utter rubbish. Everyone and their granny are bit-torrenting and at this rate you catch about 0.001% of bit-torrenters. It is bound to increase imo.

The Pirate Bay is dead. It will be dead in two years. It died a year ago at the last trial. And the year before that it died when it was "sold". It's died several times inbetween, and several dozen times over the years.

"Death" isn't what it used to be. Dodgy

it is/has. there's that many hash sites and magnet sites etc, trying to close them all down would be like trying to kill a billion fleas with a pin.

What TPB needs is a dedicated team to it. Now I'm not saying that the people that run it atm aren't dedicated, what I'm saying is that if it was any other website you could hire someone to specifically fix aspects (and introduce new ones) and etc. but due to the danger of putting a name to the website that it is not likely to happen.

But I don't think that'll be happening any time soon.

Believe me I am not criticizing.

They do extraordinarily well for a free service and I am glad that there are people who do indeed look after the well running of the website Smile.

i can understand what dan says.

though personally i think it's one of those entities that would be best left
to run on it's own in the already proven way it has been doing.

i think once you get paid professional people in you'll end up with a completely different concoction. one that has to do
with cash flow and income generation etc. Angry even the founders were going that way with the attempted sell off. (and i don't blame them, i think they deserved some kind of pay off or redundancy package lol) it'll still evolve even if it's dead like some would have us believe. someone still fills a spot or the spots at the top of it's hierarchy and instructions and suggestions will still be passed up and down through the ranks.

i also think that those doing the upkeeping of it are pretty professional already.

lot feels sad about tpb but not me. i see it as a working spring board for other dynamic sites to start up, evolve and carry out tpb prime directive. sharing is caring Smile
