http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_printing what an amazing technology,is this a form of teleportation?Imagine you're floating in space,something in your craft breaks down,as long as you have the materials needed in powderform your printer can copy any component you want.

yeah, they've been out a while now, though i'm not sure if the pieces they make are heat resistant etc.
some them come with instructions on how to build the pieces to replicate themselves and build bigger printers.

i think it's a brilliant technology.

It needs materials that are harder I think. But yeah, it's been around for a while - it's used to make prototypes .
