Trouble is, if the US withdraws from NATO and the Pacific, that'll be the start of a long slide into irrelevance. It's going to be good for the Europeans and the Japanese, though. Will give their domestic arms industries a fillip. And not just arms, hey - steel, chemicals, shale oil, the whole shebang. And to keep things in balance, the Euros and the Japs will need to have more babies, so in time a younger, fitter Europe.
Of course, the power vacuum left by an American withdrawal will lead to a more aggressive Russia and China, and eventually WW3.
