Just noticed a couple examples of expressive (mis)spelling in one short blog entry: "extreemly" and "sluths" (sic, need I mention). The first (my interpretation) lends strees stress about equal to italics but also suggesting a certain pop-eyed expression rather than italics' sneer; the latter (again, IMHO and in the context) melds "sleuths" with "sloths" - slow, lazy detectives.
