Anagram Bonanza Special

I'm bored and it seems to be quiet here so I thought I'd have an anagram bonanza special. Take them and do as you wish with them, there are bonus points available for those who use them in a poem.

All the above I found myself but here are some classics that I found on the net when I first started to become obsessed with them.

The country side — No city dust here
A decimal point — I’m a dot in place
Desperation — A rope ends it

Ambrose,"you are cracking me up! Love this. I would try to make one but it's too much like math and would likely break my brain. May try the poem challenge if I get some free time later.

A bit of both really. The long ones from sentences are usually with help from software, but even the best software has flaws. They don't like apostrophes or sometimes plurals. The other thing is that the more you do it the better you get at knowing when to look. It might sound strange but if I see a word I get a sense that there's an anagram in there I won't always get the anagram straight away but it's always there. The brain sees them immediately I think but then just focuses on the initial word.

I don't know if you've ever seen something like this...

I cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at cmabrigde uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

There's essentially lots of anagrams in there, the fact that it is still easily readable proves that the brain is taking in a lot more than what we think. So if a word is an anagram of another word it seems reasonable to assume that the brain sees it straight away, it's just getting used to recognising the feeling you get when that happens. Now and again I just get lucky like athletics - cheat list, it's worryingly accurate. Supersonic - Percussion is one of my favourites that I found and I'm still waiting for the opportunity to use it in a poem of some sort. I've already used 'eternity in its entirety' in a poem Ekphrastic Escher along with Perpetual which I discovered was an anagram of Peter Paul which is quite handy being that they are probably the two most famous saints.
All round the net there are articles about how the spooky truth can be found in anagrams whereas the real truth is that you'd be surprised how many possibilities there are with a handful of letters.

Quix, it was my intention to reply to this as an anagram of what you wrote but because life is too short, sanity is running low and well basically it was a crazy headfuck of an idea in the first place so I didn't do it. But fear not, I have done some anagrams of your name as compensation. Now when I say anagrams I mean... Oh nevermind here we go.

Quiet ax lid — It makes no sense whatsoever... hey ho
I axed quilt
I'd axe quilt — A veritable plethora of axes and quilts... hey ho
A Quilted XI — It's like that film Oceans Eleven but with a quilt instead and Roman Numerals for the 11 bit.
Liquidate X — It's like that film Oceans Eleven but it's 10 not 11 and with... Ok you get the idea

Oh well... Hey ho

Woah!! You've been busy. I never knew what a Nestorian was until I just looked it up but now that I know I can claim your anagram as genius. The other one I had for Roman Catholic was Normal Chaotic.
Sticking with religion I did do these a while back...

God works in mysterious ways — Drowsy animosity guesswork
His ways are mysterious — Theism sure is a rosy way

That was because I didn't like that 'mysterious' saying, it seemed like a get out jail free card. But I have since found out that the word 'mystery' had a specific meaning for Christianity and was one of their most important beliefs so I've changed my mind because it makes sense now.

One word six single word anagrams — trance — recant — nectar — canter — centra — carnet

And then some other mad shit that I found on the net

Life Sucks — I fuck less!
The traveling salesman — Vaginas: enters them all!
The menstrual cycle — My cunt creates hell!

That link you left is good but has the same problem as most of them in that it won't give words with apostrophes but you can do that yourself by taking out the apostrophed word and then anagramming the rest. For example take the word Christianity take out isnt and anagram the rest and you get Isn't Hair City.

Oh well... Hey ho
