on the occasion of Easter Sunday, can we think of having a Resurrection forum where old posts can get commented on?
For instance, I liked this old piece by Heslopian:
http://www.pigpenpoetry.com/thread-11271.html but I can't comment on it because it'll screw up the chronology in 'Serious'. pie
I'm not suggesting that poems from 3 years ago still be workshopped - just an odd comment or two is enough.
I'm echoing an old theme...

There's no chronology, we're not that fancy. Comment if you like, when you like. Sometimes we leave poems for years before coming back to work on them again -- and sometimes it's just nice to know that someone is reading and enjoying.
I quite like the idea of putting threads with no posts after several months into a Resurrection forum. The trouble is, it's a lot of work for mods when members could just as easily search and comment on their own.
It could be worse

If you just want to let someone know you like an older piece you could PM them. If you'd like to critique go ahead. I wouldn't do so much at at one time that it knocks all current work off the front page but critting an inactive work isn't that much different than critting a lot of the threads in Novice where the OP sometimes never comments and often doesn't post an edit.
Besides, members like me learn a lot from each crit and it would be great to read something I may have missed.

just leave feedback where you will. members who are still here are entitled to feedback at any point; it's also great you're reading posts from way back, it would be good if more did the same.
