Hello,
I am new to poetry;, it will be a week tomorrow. For whatever reason I just started writing and now I cant stop. To be honest when I started I had no idea what poetry really was, I had no concept of meter or the other mechanics. I look forward to participating here and learning from all of you. John

Greetings all!
I found this forum and am quite happy I did! I've just started exploring and once I feel I've understood how things work well enough, I will start giving feedback. I have never been good at it, as I find I don't explain myself well. (The whole, "it sounds perfectly logical in my head but when it falls out of my mouth it makes no sense" syndrome) I have written poetry since I knew what poetry was. Whether it is any good or not is always up for debate, I take criticism well though. Looking forward to getting to know you all! |
