SUPERTRAMP (NO. 143)

Alexander,
I took the bus and now I’m in throws
‘cause I picked up this transit thinking I knew everyone on it,
I sat myself and believed in no belt
and no nothing,
I picked this up thinking I’d never get thrown into glass.

Alexander,
it ain’t the falling forward you have to worry about
(I’m fathoming)
it’s the falling back,
‘cause the seats are sucking everyone in
and I don’t even know what to do with my fucking hands,
her piggy-nose is gone,
her double chin
is feeling to me like pleather.

Alexander,
the thing I do know
is soon enough I’ll be laying in the backseat too,
and I worry I won’t even have half the quiet feeling of
I did it my way
‘cause I don’t even know my real name.

Alexander,
I haven’t even made it to fairbanks.

Haven't posted in a while.
If you haven't heard of Chris McCandless or Into the Wild, this one may come off as a little confusing. I'm curious to hear how it's received with and without context. Nothing's perfect or set in stone, so beat it up please.

Thanks,
Cousin
