I made for us two eggs
for breakfast.
Once cool,
the other shall go
in the dog bowl.
Some days I still forget, dushechka.

all i can say is wow!
i love the subterfuge you used in this piece addy.
i loved the warmth of the it.
i loved the bad syntax an english speaking foreigner would use
but (there's always a but) i love dushenka most of all my darling.
that one word ties the poem into a whole.
it shows edie's love for her dog, how she remembers it (the dog is dead and she sometimes does the act unknowingly)
i think it's a perfect poem
