Thread Closed
#1
My poem 'Himalayan Clouds' was posted in the forum for 'Serious Workshopping'. Even before I could finalize my Third Revision, the notice 'Thread Closed' was displayed. Under it was a notice to the effect that replies could not be posted as the Thread had been closed by a Moderator. Neither has the name of the Moderator been revealed nor the reasons for closing the Thread. What are the norms in this regard?

did you read what it said:

The OP has made a total of 15 posts on the site, and 11 of them have been on this thread.  The thread is therefore closed until this balance has been redressed.  The OP is able to edit the poem without further comments/ Admin

there are three admin, me, leanne and todd, it wasn't me, i can't actually see you having any redress but to write some feedback elsewhere. Thumbsup

Seems pretty clear to me. This is a site founded on give and take, especially in Serious Workshopping. While you are no doubt to be commended for your dedication in terms of editing your own poem, it is expected that you participate in workshopping other poems on the site. From extensive experience I can tell you that properly critiquing a poem in Serious can take anywhere between a couple of hours and a couple of days. This is not to be taken for granted.
It could be worse
