Some might disagree with you, but I do not.
I toyed with the question mark so long I forgot that a sentence ought to start with a CAP.
Changed. Thanks.

Yes, a "?" calls for a "W".  Quite symmetrical.
I just wanted to point out that "what" , being an interrogative, doesn't actually need a "?".

so

what mad poet
wrote you
into my life

works as well. Not sayin' it's better or worse, just sayin' Smile

You're lucky that you have someone to blame.  Either I don't, or I have suppressed it.

Though, thinking a bit, maybe this individual is a fantasy you've constructed in an
attempt to rid yourself of the guilt associated with this endeavor. Again, just sayin'.

    Did I
    write the mad poet
    into my life?

Though, looking at your poem again, I find it a bit lacking in the verisimilitude department.
Suggested correction:

What bad poet
wrote you
into my life?

Hey tiger-

I've often wondered that about my spouse... what mad poet, indeed?

Being an admirer of the (very) simple, I take this one at face value. Thumbsup
