France warns citizens about UK travel

Amid a high alert over an alleged al Qaeda plot to attack cities in Europe, France has warned its citizens about travel to the United Kingdom, saying British authorities believe a terror attack is "highly likely."

The move follows a United States warning that Americans be careful about traveling in Europe because of the risk of terror attacks.

Neither the UK nor France raised threat levels in response to the American warning, but each has now warned its citizens about travel elsewhere on the continent.

i think eac country does it in order to get foreigners to their own country,

i just find it amazing that france tells it citizens not to visit the uk. if i were the french gov i'd be saying "leave france while you can"

i think it's sheer stupidity. we probably have more chance of being run over by a car (specially in italy ) than we do of being involved in a bomb blast. travel advisery; don't go to china, you could be killed by a push bike.

The "terrorists" are successfully turning measures that were made for them, against ourselves. That is of course, if there are as many "terrorists" as is publicised.

i agree. i think it's easy to say don't go there, it's dangerous
without any need. lets remember the burka/roma issue going on there.
i think sometimes they spout this crap to deflect some of what goes on in their own part of the world.
