Brio – Another Word of the Day Poem

You're gonna need some brio,
if you wander down to Rio.
It's just a bunch of sweaty fun,
dancing 'til the rising sun.

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

Mmmm, I loves Ta-kill-ya, it makes me feel so wonderfully dead, and puts me in a Goth state of mind.

Do you know what you get when you mix Brio with Brillo? You get pots that can act as mirrors Smile

I never understood the draw of sweaty intoxicated people clambering up against each other...... All that aside, i wouldnt mind a trip to rio. A nice little poem. I always enjoy poetry with any sort of irreverence in it.

Here's an overly ambitious "brio" poem.

Brio- vigor or vivacity of style or performance.

We said "it" with the utmost brio,
lingering our tongues around the o.
Everything was very brio
that was brio, this was brio
even all our friends were just so brio.
Ba ba ba brio,
Mr.Brio, Captain brio, sundry other brios
til the word was dead.
We had seized the laughter that it caused
and chased it with possessive fury
then we said "it" with the utmost brio.

Brownbaby...you've certainly hit that nail squarely on the head with brio.

bena, your painting has no brio 'bout it baby,
but it sure does drive me crazy...with fear.

Good poem, Brown-a-lee,
it's the "it" poem of the year,
a very brio poem for sure,
yet it brought me not much cheer.

Allow me to re-"it"-er-ate,
there's nothing better than tautology
unless it served alongside cloying puns
like sugar frosted cheerios
or honey flavored Kix
replete with lapping brio from the noisy kids.

So ya, I've resulted to breakfast cereals and fictional children here.
