thats one of the reasons i want to try safari.

google now seems to be tied up with firefox. i hate it's pervasiveness.
everythings either google this or yahoo that.

I don't understand. How exactly is google tied up with firefox? Provide some examples, I'm afraid I disagree .

Firefox has a Google search window in the top right corner these days. That's all.

I know and I consider it to be one of the (if not the) most useful tools in FF. It makes searching so much easier for me. How someone finds it to be some sort of cooperation , I don't know .

going through the ff files on the pc i see lots of google file i never downloaded.
the trouble with my firefox went wally wally when i removed a google file.
i too use google but i want to use it out of choice.

i'll take a look at opera later, thanks.
