When I was married I also lived in a hut and heard a droning sound which surprisingly ended when I got divorced.

Mud hut, serene winter morning, I'm thinking the Serengeti with the Kilimanjaro in the distance. Yes, that's nice, one of the most primeval places on the earth being deflowered by advance war technology where people still live close to the earth, but die just as easily from a rocket as any other human. Ah, the "gods must be crazy."

You still in Europe being smothered by modern technology?

Good 'ku, bringing two worlds together. 'serene' doesn't feel right though. Is it just because it's an adjective? Not sure.

mmmm a politiku. I like it! I even like serene because of its juxtaposition with what the drone represents. =)

Very cool!  Thumbsup  I was thinking that 'Muddy' might be a more poignant title that stresses the serene/drone contrast./Chris

Muddy definitely seems like a better title!

Loved the poem! Serene is great, maybe an even more powerful adjective could work in it's place.

Good luck!
