In the end, unlimited and reasonably alright would do me...

But I'm sure a company/school could use such speeds for improved efficiency... After all $350/260€ is not much for a company/institution (even though in the latter i'm pretty sure it's a home deal).

yeah vf, it's one of the best deals around here had it for about 8 years now and the price hasn't changed that much

I'm guessing it will have to be divided. But still 1Gb/s can theoretically provide 1024 machines with 1 Mb/s even though I'm pretty sure the maths wouldn't be so simple and the speed would not always be 1Gb/s. But you can understand the power contained in such a contract for a company or institution.

I know, these deals (TV, Internet and phone - and also lately the little USB stick for internet anywhere) are gaining popularity in Portugal.

i hate the usb one, it charges a fortune if you go over a certain amount each noth. in the uk it's a bout 3 gigs a moth for twenty dollars
