no overcoming her spell unless Jovian,

which I admit was quite nice,
although our love was as flammable as collodion.

Nice double entendre ell. I'd lap your parts any day, but that's because I can run really fast  Have maybe a triple entendre!
Ah, I think I should turn the word of the day poem over to you, you always do a much better job than I. I was surprised to see Pavlovian as the word, I didn't really think it was that obscure, certainly not compared to some of the other ones that have popped up. I'm just waiting for merkin, although that may not be obscure enough Ah, those were the days...as long as you had no sense of smell and didn't see very well.

Yea, Pavlovian is weak, I usually have to look them up.

while ogling this shapely Latvian,
but a distant cousin
was one of his own kin,

Yes, I see you are going the full out psychology route along with the kinipus complex. Too bad you couldn't work in Jung and Horny (hung and horny) then you would have the big four (I think we can allow Ivan to be a stand in for Skinner, I never cared for him anyway, pompous prick).

Ha ha... Hey Dale, thanks for the inspiration. I have been in and out. My group is trying to deliver a new HIV drug to the clinic this quarter, but we have had some obstacles. Good to see you out and about as well!

Evidently what once was a major problem with trying to fight HIV, that is its rapid evolution, has now become a benefit as it is evolving itself into a less deadly strain, or so I understand. Of course less deadly only means that with the right medicines you will probably not die from it. That is what I have read, but how far can you trust what you read, journalism standards have really dropped. Is that accurate as far as you know? It sounds as though you might have a better vantage point than others.
What does that entail, "delivering a new drug to a clinic", obviously it is more than just carting over the drug and dumping it off.
Glad to see you, hope your work lets you stick around some.
