Dodoitsu
#1
I recently discovered a form of Japanese verse called 'Dodoitsu', which at first I mistakenly believed was a joke post on someones blog. According to wikipedia dodoitsus are, "Often concerning love or work, and usually comical. Dodoitsu poems consist of four lines with the syllabic structure 7-7-7-5 and no rhyme."

I wrote my own and although I couldn't manage to keep the rhymes out, I skillfully managed to adhere to the syllabic structure which is surely the most important thing.

Do it, do it, do it Sue!
Do it with Sam, Dave and Stu.
Wham and bam and whoop-de-do.
Please do, do it Sue.

Feel free to share your own Dodoitsu here also.
Haiku is dead. Long live Dodoitsu.

Not very profound, I'll try again. It is hard to resist rhyming.

That's a pretty cool little blurb there. I think there is some good poetry about cancer out there. Apparantly the doctor patient relationship is quite intimate and that's something that warrants communication.
