If I ever publish a book it'll be titled Shower Thoughts, with Loofah.
Logically, what doesn't kill you will make you weaker, be it emotionally or physically, but hopefully smarter. I suppose you can argue being more knowledgeable makes you stronger, but really that's not the saying. Does power equal strength? And does knowledge always equal power or does it only sometimes equal power? Care to discuss?
I'll be there in a minute.
Knowledge just means knowing things. Intelligence and stupidity aren't very interesting. People go to college and learn things and learn how to keep learning things, and their intelligence is just as common as a stupid person is stupid. Powerful people influence the world every day, and they are annoying and boring people. You reversed that comment about that which doesn't kill me makes me stronger, and that comment was based in the context of being interesting. Pain can make a person interesting, so can power and intelligence. But pain can destroy and make you boring, just like power and intelligence. Being interesting, or noble, is what matters.

What doesn't kill me just makes me angry and goes on my revenge list.
The list is long. I'm a procrastinator, you know.
It could be worse

What doesn't kill me leaves me puddled on the ground, but I've learned that if I just stay alive the energy regathers and I rebuild. I bounce back faster as I've gotten older, maybe you just get used to the rollercoaster and throw your arms up and scream.
It helped to realize that everyone gets their share of crap. The only difference between those enjoying the day and those bemoaning it is attitude. That hokey Choose Joy is the truth. If I'm gonna be alive damned if I'll be miserable.
Knowledge and power, I don't have a clue about that stuff.

There is no way to determine causality so the only knowledge we have is based on probability. There's my hackneyed philosophy, but I do like what some of you said. P.S. I was out strolling my menagerie and eating a plain cracker when a man offered me some Caviar. I shed a lone tear and knew this was proof of the congenial nature present in men and their fancies. Good gentle but firm men who never knew the word stratification.

What doesn't kill you might make you a quadriplegic.
What doesn't kill you might just keep trying.
What doesn't kill you makes up 99.9999...% of the universe.
Maybe nothing is trying to kill you; it's all a delusion fueled by
your desperate need for attention.
What doesn't kill you is another flubbed attempt at suicide.

What doesn't kill you is listening to poets read in Poet Voice - but you wish sometimes it would.

It's Zombie-talk. I would pronounce farts more eloquent;
but to mention them in this context would malign them.
And as I'm at it, let me offer my apologies to our fair Zombies,
as I've cast an unwarranted aspersion on you as well.
