no truth
#1
I´ m judging and judging the sky and the earth,
the people around me, but mostly myself.

Stupid to speak out what I estimate truth
I´m damaged and blamed for the damage I´ve caused

what was intended as a mighty conviction
is shattered to peaces as doubts are afflicting

Sentenced to a prison of remorse and confusion
I cannot move out till I find some solution

But I may never be leaving my jail
cause every answer inside is in vain.

I want to create riddles that pass through the bars
that way at least I´d free part of my heart.

Well it's vague, inconsistent (prison-->jail, judging, not judging, etc.) and 12 lines of emo cliche. Has no meter, or recognizable cadence. Metaphor is the only poetic trope used, and some of that is just silly:

"I want to create riddles that pass through the bars
that way at least I´d free part of my heart."

It's a riddle, how riddles can free a heart by being passed through the imagined bars of an imagined jail?

If the writer is below the age of 18, this seems fairly representative of that age group. Regardless, any place is a good place to start, if talent exist, the site can teach you the skills.

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

I don't feel particularly much for you poem. I don't find it to be brilliant but then I also don't find it to be bad. As someone else already said, the topic of your poem has been written too much on so that what you write almost comes across as boring for me. There are some lines in your poem that I like but it fails to make me like the poem as a whole.

I think my main "problem" with your poem is that there is really no room for the reader to interpret his/her own meaning of the poem. I find that the best poets can often express thoughts without ever having to say it out directly. I hope that you can try to do the same.

Good luck on your writing! Smile
