Hey folks, I've been doing a lot of thinking. ... have missed you all.
What's your best summer memory?
Mine is the purple sandy beaches of Lake Erie, the seaweed smell, the strong current while swimming and playing frisbee in my bikini. Oh that hot sun was glorious! And there was that time I "tried" to water ski and only succeeded in loosing my top! And last but not least is the enchanted evenings with the fire-flies lighting up the dark fields.

Oh, lots of great memories that are hard to choose from... most recently in my cousin's island wedding we all got to ride on a banana boat (or fall off of a banana boat is more accurate) and I got whiplash LOL
Definitely lots of great memories in the beach. I remember walking the beach of picking up small seashells. I remember standing in the waters of the pacific at sunset with my mom, getting rocked back and forth by the waves while she talked and marvelled how it felt just like being embraced by a higher power. I can even look fondly at memories of trudging up the beach with eyes stinging badly from the seawater, but knowing that my parents were lounging on a towel at the top of the dune and it'll be wonderful to just sit with them for a while
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

mmmm, it hard for me to choose (and we've missed you

)
two good summers.
i think the best one i ever had was when we took the kids to disneyland florida.
money was no expense and we were there for a month. i spent most of the time
seeing how enthralled they were with the silliest of stuff. they were in awe at all the mascots.
i can't remember seeing them frown lol.
if not that then a week i spent in penwinmar (sp) it's in wales by the sea. we were in a camping hostel and loads of canadians were there as well. their team leader sort of took everyone under his wing and let us join in the fun. we helped build the campfire on the beach then come night time we had a big party. well they did. i was busy humping his girlfriend back at the bunk house

we got back as the party was ending and just blended in pretending to be drunk. it was a glorious week for me.
