How to make a baby with Infantile colic stfu
#1
have you tried a herbal remedy.

and in the old days mums would
tape a copper coin to the kids belly button.
supposedly the zinc from the coin would help

have you thought about jumping on his tummy.
if you do make sure no one is standing in the flight path.

on a more serious note i'd go with a herbal remedy.
go to any alternative pharmacy and they'll sort you out.
don't use senna or you kid will end up looking like a puddle of shit Tongue

did you give the child collared greens and grits recently, or has your partner given it to him
via breast milk. if so the colic is the least of your problems. pretty soon the kid will be moonwalking and wearing a glittery glove.

if the child gets a stigma from being called half black tell him a bed time story and pretend he's half white Wink

good to see your taking dad hood seriously Smile. like the water tape idea.
i know when i went fishing there was no better sound than that of the river
for putting me to sleep.

ps, water boarding can stop the crying
but the resuscitation can be tricky to work out
in one so young Wink

does it work as well as a peeled onion Hysterical

kids are pretty resilient, though if they become bound (not shit for a while) you have to see the doctor
you don't have to feed him chemicals but seeing the doctor is extremely wise. i do believe they have a zinc cream you rub on his b/button and the doc will be able to tell you which natural remedy is best.

the reason you should see the doc is that colic can also be a symptom of something else.
better safe than sorry moobs.

Hey boobs,
Firstly congradulations on the new wee one. Smile
Ya, colic can be horrible for the entire family.
Our son had it ... thank goodness he was our second or we might
never of had a second. That was 25 years ago but I was recommended Gripe Water and it worked like magic.
We just had our second grandchild 3 months ago and our daughter also swears by girpe water.
Also, your mom is right about babies and pooing (especially titty babies) ... they can go a couple of days. Our daughter just went through the same worry but was told by her doctor not to worry. Mind you I wouldn't let it go on for more than 3 or 4 days.

heres a couple of aritcles for your interest.

He had some tough days with lotsa air in the belly this weekend but he's all back to normal again. Not thanks to the splashing water sound, but thanks my his mum abstaining from eating cabbage, onion and smoked fish - which she had been eating alot.

I still use the water-cd from time to time tho. Sometimes he gets in that 'to-tired-to-sleep' mood and that sound just works wonders Smile
It's good to keep on hand for those off days, adults can use it also. I do from time to time. The gripe water today has an alchol free one available.
Chocolate is another stay-away-from food. I learned that the hard way with my first child. Brocolli is another one.
By the way I enjoyed your post ... though the situation was sad for your baby you had me laughing with your commical side.
