I can’t remember if I’m down one, or up two.
I think that I was just at thirteen,
but then they gave me another,
which would make it fourteen.
It’s all so hazy, just like a dream,
reality is nowhere near so solid
as it once seemed, but I pretty sure
—yes I am— that I’m up to fifteen.
Yes, I’m sure that is true,
unless of course you count
the ones I take twice as though they were two.
So do I count twice the ones I take double?
Then there are them in the morning,
and those at night, that can be trouble,
if you don’t take them just right.
Then those only when you have just eaten,
or are totally empty, but never when tight;
because something about alcohol,
make these pills want to fight.
Of course I got three I inhale,
and then there’s this one that’s oblong,
which makes me constantly pee,
the whole damn day long, but not a one
to just have some fun. Still I am grateful
cause I haven’t got any that go up my bum!

, ah, in a better world I'd be able to trade this for every meds list I'm handed, but everything's skewed towards the 5% humorless. You hit some nail or another on the head here.

hehehe I haven't quite gotten there yet, but you painted a pretty clear and amusing picture of the battle for personal wellness and (seemingly) against a constant wave of pharmaceuticals.
