Spring is just two days away (give or take a tad) for all
us peoples residing in God's given hemisphere.
This means the time is unequivocally equinoxically right
for our annualistically guttural gush of hormonal hyperbole.
To wit:

< all about you again >
it was winter just a while ago
but now
it's spring
and spring
is all about you again
you and your face
seen turning
just a glimpse
a flash of eye
a blue
a green
a glint of sun
reflected
in your words and breasts and legs
and what you say with your clear smile
and spring
is all about you again
and summer
is you
you and your hands
pulling the boat about
in sea
and clouds
as white
as sails
and fall
and you
as bright as red
and leaves
that dust us
in their orange and brown
and winter
leaves its coat on us
the white of snow
the black of branches reaching out to spring
and spring
is all about you again

Off topicness is encouraged; this includes addled comments, poems about
astronomy, shortcomings of the way-to-watery southern hemisphere, and
the relative merits of the various species of armadillo. My favorite armadillos
are the three-banded ones as they are the only ones that can roll up into a ball:
