it's not as if he got on a soapbox and shouted out his views.
the media asking him a question on camera and didn't like his answers. the media should be on trial.
i can't condemn anyone for voicing a belief that gayganism is bad, same as i can't condemn anyone for saying gayganism is good. they say his opinions go against the companies opinions and there for he's been dropped. why wasn't their best selling show that makes more money for them than any other show just been axed it's a reality show for fuck sake.

another question. the program where kids are paraded out on stage as adults (dance moms) and are forced to have nervous breakdowns. it's basically child abuse. it's amazing how that's okay but for someone to openly say how they feel about gays is bad. he's anti gay so fucking what, he's not beating them with sticks, he's not out there preaching about it. he answered a fucking question. i think the rest of his family should walk out of the show....you'd soon see the tv company change their tune. fuck the freedom of speech shit, it's common sense. does this mean we all stop speaking to people who think being gay is wrong? or doesn't fit in with their idea of what's godly or not. i'd pretty soon have no friends but jack. i like him (as far as a celeb can be liked) for his honesty. he also slags city folk down. ...he must be a right nasty bastard hey,

I think reality tv is horrible, in general. Duck Dynasty makes me laugh, because they are a pretty insane, dysfunctional family and have never tried to hide that fact. What I find bizarre is all the attention this crap is getting when there have been bigger stars with more bigoted comments made public (coughMelGibson) ---no one seemed to stop going to his movies when all that came out. I don't think anyone violated Phil's first amendment rights by suspending him from the show. But now that it is 100 percent that the family is going to walk out too---I'm sure A&E will change their tune considering it's the only show that's making money for them. The merchandising alone is millions.

A & E crumbled. Honestly, I used to think they had better ethics, being that their name is "Arts & Entertainment" and not something idiotic like Tru tv----but I was a faithful "First 48" fan (my brother is a homicide detective, I find that stuff fascinating) ----until that 4 year old was killed during the police raid on the wrong side of duplex----and they still SELL that episode. Makes me sick to my stomach.

A&E put themselves in the middle by running a marathon of the program after what they said. Everyone has a right to their opinion just as A&E had the right to suspend him. They wanted their cake and eat it too.

Seems they want to ask a question expecting a different answer.

I work for a Fortune 500 company, they give us a poll, say they hear us, but they don't. They ask the same questions hoping to get a different answer, but they always get the same. Then send people to try and convince us that what they are doing is what we wanted.
