The Soft blond fuzz
On the edge of the sink
a razor rests disposable.
In the medicine cabinet
a canister of Barbasol
waits to be discharged.
In the mirror, a face
In the mirror, a beard
The soft blond fuzz, GONE.

Shoot, I thought this was about a girl shaving her sweet Georgia peach! Perhaps your next effort.

I think what works for me in this, and you should probably find ways to emphasize it more: Is the waiting of the elements (the razor on the edge of the sink, the shaving cream waiting to spray). It's all potential building up. I know that seems heavy but it's sort of a transformation metaphor. In that light, rests may be the wrong word though the sonics sound nice, perhaps poised. The beard as Schrodinger's cat. I don't know just thoughts.

I like to over-think and this poem has been on my mind. If the razor is still on the sink and the cream is still in the cabinet and the beard is still on the face.. where did the fuzz come from ? I guess I could assume you shaved the beard after you were so careful to set me up with all the requirements, but beard hair doesn't strike me as "fuzzy" or "soft".
So while I enjoyed the carefully written visuals, I'm left a bit perplexed.
Did you tweeze your pubes?
Hey there,
Ok, so when your young your hair is soft all over your body. But, once you start shaving it it grows back coarse. So the guy (ME) looking in the mirror remembers being young, but he has lost his youthful characteristics.
Hence the soft blond fuzz that i once had.
Cheers
