Literal and Cynical

I’m a collective mass of sentient cells.
My existence holds no true significance in the benefit of our species.
Those around me are under similar circumstances, yet claim a higher purpose.
Belief that we hold any amount of evolutionary utility is misguided and naive.
All I do and all that I am is trivial.

I’m a collective mass of sentient cells.
I live in an environment constructed by similar beings.
The essentials of life are satisfied, yet these beings have developed other trivial wants.
The very existence of these wants is needless and I denounce their necessity.
All I do and all that I am is trivial.

I’m a collective mass of sentient cells.
The social constructs that have been established by those above us are petty and frivolous.
In the desire of freedom and safety, we have paradoxically formed controlling bodies.
The only needs that government fulfill are and selfish, therefore should be renounced.
All I do and all that I am is trivial.

I’m a collective mass of sentient cells.
The concepts portrayed in this excerpt can be expanded to the universe in which we survive.
It is unlikely that our residence has affected anything more than our insignificant collection of rock.
Presence of our celestial body holds no true consequence.
All I do and all that I am is trivial.

Hi Sean - the point of right justifying might be trivial in itself, but it makes reading difficult.
It might have worked better as a visual pun if it had been, for instance, a poem on a right wing party that considers its position justified - something along those lines.
