Suicide by Droid

With a final bite of Amanita phalloides
I finally silence the hum of the Droid bees
Their buzzing has led me to end it all
All that's left is the death app to install

They die, but then return in a buzzier upgrade.

I don't even have a cell phone, but I love the 'droid bees'. Tongue

Something had to rhyme, even if I made it up.Smile

Where I work there's a waiting room of the elderly. The sounds coming out of their pants are shocking, and they have them set so they sing louder the longer they take to find them.

Aaaarrrgggghhhhh

Droids never die, they just grow a new Kevlar.

God I hate old people...of course I hate being old even more...what was I saying?

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

meh, older people are just like any others, some grand and some a pain. I only mention elderly because they seem to be much slower to answer their phones. I'm slow finding my own sometimes, and younger friends don't get why I don't answer their texts fast enough. I'm still typing while they're sending me another. Smile

I enjoyed "the death app" it was a modern approach with pretty good insight on the media aspect of this issue, it was also a nice play on words with death app/death cap. Good contribution Thumbsup
I never highlight my flaws or deficits
Because none of that will matter when death visits

We couldn't tell by the Fungal Inspector "title"
Ironically earlier today after I thought about the commonness of the amanita phalloides in suicide poetry, I thought it'd be neat to write a poem about a variety of Fungi, giving abstract usage and purpose based on each description and why I like them, and then finishing that off with "but my favorite, by far would be the amanita phalloides" and then cue horrible suspenseful cliff hanger ending. But sadly what I have in mind wouldn't be very "good" so I think you'd do a much better job with that, so I won't bother.
