Budding Pinks.
Sweet little puppies that peek with lace clad cheeks,
(not so little,
on second inspection --more magnetic beasts).
Pale complexioned,
rouge toped peaks that swell and heave;
a moving feast of captive crumbs
and champagne dribbles,
best served slightly warm.
Pinks perform well when freshly “shampooed”.
But beware of nasty nipping if picking at dawn.…and whatever you do,
…ask permission before petting the puppies!

I think some of the lines are a bit wobbly and I'm struggling to get my mouth round some of the phrasing
