Meoooww!
The cat screams.
I jump up
not understanding.
"What happened?"
I ask the cat.
Cat's can't speak,
stupid.
The cat's stupid.
he's walking fine,
not even a limp,
glaring at me
with hate in his eyes.
He'll love me again
within minutes,
he hasn't been fed yet.
Stupid cat.
"Well don't sleep under the chair then!"
I yell
as if it understands.
I sit back down.
Damn cat.

I LOVE cat poems... and cats. (Well, most of them; Shiva,
the cat in the box up there, is ill-tempered, pisses on
everything, and turns vicious when not fed properly.)
Favorite lines:

Both of my cats are manx cats with no tails. Can't step on a tail they don't have. now I just need them to shut the hell up when I try to sleep!
