It's relative.

We're brought up to be obedient wage slaves in USA, but that doesn't mean those outside the mold are defective.

Because - at the end of days it's more apparent that it doesn't really matter what you did, be it curing cancer or bodysurfing your life away.

In The Grand Scheme of Things there's really no difference to me.

enjoyed talkin atcha in coffee spot other day.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years ago. Add that on top of alcoholism, and I have 2 mental illnesses if you want to get technical. The terminology doesn't bother me because I believe it's extremely accurate. But I only act nuts these days when I'm trying to get something I really want, rejecting something I don't like, or attempting to win an argument.

You know what sucks, is when those closest to you ask you if you are manic because you chose to express an emotion that wasn't catatonic. But.......sometimes they're right....pricks.

I am bipolar schitzoaffective. They told me my ranting was purely delusional. Sometimes I go manic and stay up three days in a row
and conjure up theories or conspiracies and some delusions.
Never write when Im on that trip though, might have to try it
sometime.

In Georgia anyone with bipolar is a loon. Good to meet another loon...

And i'm probably some kinda mental but not lookin to get the accurate label Smile

Since everyone dies I don't think it makes too much difference how productive you are in life; it's just what we've been taught.

Truth. I have balls out paranoid schizophrenia it has advanced to the point where i recognized someone as a project of my subconscious. i don't really know/care what to make of it. i think of it as a unique sensitivity rooted in my perception of reality.

Bunx, doesn't it feel good to just let that shit out! I have been fortunate to have a successful dental practice in spite of my dual diagnosis, and an especially late diagnosis on the bipolar. But I always worked overtime to try to be a different "self" to everyone around me, because somehow I knew, even when abstaining from alcohol, that something just wasn't right. I finally got diagnosed and eventually "leveled", and be very first sign of health that came to me was "fuck what everybody thinks!"
