Nah I just had a quick look before I went. I'll check it out later. It seems all it needs is members...

I know, trust me - I kept up with him for quite a while in the good ole days of the freakshow. He's a good kid, but when he gets a hardon he ends up getting his iron hammered lotsa times.

Freakshow, lol. I have 3 VPS's now, 2 Netherlands, and 1 US. The only reason I reason I fell flat before was because I had no money, now I have a job and can afford stuff like this.

I will get a dedicated when I start seeing some more peers ~40k. The VPS that runs the tracker also has nothing else on it and is located in the Netherlands.

Did you try the trackerless magnet?

Yes, but it takes to long to start, so I'm going with a different method. The torrent files will be hosted on thehashden.org, making thehashden.com not responsible for hosting copyright material, but rather linking to it. I will also have a hash alternate, with tracker.thehashden.com on it.

You know what, I'm sincerely happy for you. This is like the first step out of adolence. Taking things in your own hand (nudge nudge). Seriously. Reading this made my day. I'm so happy.

Linking is bad mmkay? But then again, we are halfwayscrewed without trackers. But really I'd like to say two things before I post a heart for you.

1 - Picking 'TheHashDen' as your tracker name aint a good thing for lotsa reasons. For one, if you remember the ole pirates united golden rule about dispersion of services you'd know.

2 - Storring torrents aint really nescecarry - with magnet links, (and trackers), you're sure that you get the .torrent as long as theres at least 1 seed.

About the expensability of trackers, I have my doubts. About 10% of my TPB downloads wont do these days. I remove them from my client and try again and sometimes it goes through. I look up the associated trackers at torrentz.com and add them in case theyre up and BOOM.

Alright - that was a lot of words. Here ya go:

To be honest, I don't remember anything from Pirates United. I was only banned from months.

Those ideas are really good, and I like them. But I do know that their is still many Bittorrent Clients that don't support magnet, including my own. And I don't wish to leave those people in the dark.

TheHashDen tracker has been modified a little.

Here are the changes.

1. I have Disabled the mass scrape.

2. Port 80 and Port 6969 are now together, turning two processes into one.

3. Mass reduction in load and Peers, but Conn/s has increased a lot. 1700conn/s (Peak) Bandwidth: 1.4Mb/s (EST.)

4. UDP is officially working.

5. Access to stats is only allowed by me /stats?mode=conn, etc.

What I'm working on right now

1. syncing of peers between servers.
