Sitting front of my lappy
Forming thoughts inanely happy
I'm wondering if this is the norm
For poetry in it's best form
Or just a time filler for Pappy!
Oh what a wicket web we weave!

jiminy - I can't help myself - here goes 'His, Hers, Its'.....see, no apostrophe needed. If there was a need, then 'Hi's, Her's, It's' would be the rule.

"For poetry in it is best form" - is what you have written.

..................now, I'm sure you are going to hate me for evermore!

bye, grannyjill

You got the full force of my irritation....you are not alone in confusing 'it's' with 'its'....and I'm ashamed of myself for treating a newbie so, especially as I've only just stopped being a newbie myself.
Welcome to you Jiminy
