Many people would be happy
if they could have what you do.

So all those that love you

they share in your misery.

And those that envy you
mimic your misery,
attracting enduring love
of their own.

Seems more like philosophy, Perhaps you could tell a story that brings about the sentiment you are trying to express. Thanks for posting.

This feels like one of those trick questions or loop thoughts that go round and round but never really let you into the inner circle of knowledge. (Especially the first stanza).
I got very confused in S1 the placement of simply did not scan so great for me, I kept tripping up in my mental following of where and who the text was talking to / about.
This all said I still like this one.

pretty awesome. being clinically insane, i relate to this poem alot. it seems that when life hits a climax and something good is about to happen, my world goes off the cliff. i pull out my wings and glide a little way down the mountain, only to make that rough trek to the top. thanks for the poem!

Insanity always flames up. It seems to me, the middle way between a sophisticated mind and an animal body is insanity, and to avoid that middle way there needs to be spiritual integrity. And spiritual integrity is only sanity with a subtle knife.

But maybe that's just me.

i am sure about embodying the spirit of animals, i may just have to see if i could fly. spirituality, i believe is key for growth and moving past mental illness
