I love writing! poems, short stories, essays, everything about writing is fun to me. So I wrote a poem about writing poems... well writing in general. But anyways I hope y'all enjoy this one!
The Written Journey
The writer’s work is never done.
Each piece starts his life’s tale anew:
new story, poem, or passion.
It is an unending process.
Not iron sharpening iron,
but rather colleague or book read.
It is the true craft of the mind,
the craft of inspiring awe.
This life is for all and any:
The disturbed and stable alike.
All minds carry the writer’s torch
It will never discriminate.
Each thought a new philosophy
needed to be engraved in words.
Every journey or folk tale shared
must be written down to preserve.
The life of the writer's lonely
and a tad bit monotonous.
But whether fame or for pleasure,
It’ll be worth it in the end.
