Hi there I need some help, i always want things to be perfect and make my assignments perfect. I stress way too much about school and getting good marks to get into a good university. I spend at least 6 hours on homework or more a day and maybe it takes me 2 hours to write a simple paragraph cause i want it to be perfect?
Sometimes i write too much for my essays how can i cut down?
Most importantly when I get constructive criticism, I try to fix my assignment as best as I can but it takes me forever!!!
My parents and friends tell me to not care as much how perfect my assignments are and just hand them in. I need help! If i feel like i did a poor job on my assignment, should i just hand it in? cause ill waste my time trying to make it perfect?

realize that no one is perfect except me and you're on your way.
homework can be a bitch. if you want feedback without giving it there are sites out there.
set yourself a time limit on the work and then on an edit. try and learn the craft of whatever it is you're doing, for instance, giving feedback will help you see flaws and merits in your own work.

When I saw this on the side of the screen, I thought it was going to say "How can i stop being a pervert?"
How to stop being a perfectionist when it comes to school? Your best bet is to stop turning in assignments. You can still keep working on them, if that's what gets you off. Get a bunch of bad grades, and fail a year or two. Your classmates will keep getting younger and hotter. And when you finally graduate, it'll be easier to accept that not much is different in the long run.
