the heart of poetry

i think, well i know that for me, when i write something, it's mine. no matter how shitty it has something of me in it. when i draw (or used to) it was never the same. then it was like having to use external tools etc, not tools that come from me like my language but physical tools. i know i need pen and paper or a substitute for them but that's it. of course i realise most art is done the same way. it's just that poetry give me expression, painting doesn't. i think when i look or try to look into the heart of poetry, i see myself. different facets of who i am or was. the evolution of me. and i see it in so many ways. i see it in the newb's first poem or the erudite poet's masterpiece. it give me the chance to be a kung fu master of words.; whether by reading or writing. it give me me
