I swear I only lie when I’m not telling the truth truthfully, and no lie I spin is ever truthfully a true lie but a misrepresentation of something resembling a bit of a fib.:angel:
I get into more trouble because I do just blurt out the truth all the time. I really don’t give a shit, but if I have time to think I will deny if it is to save someone, and once I tell a lie I make sure it is never forgotten and not come undone until it needs to be told.
I had this with a niece who was growing up fully depending on a lie her dad had spun her mother, she was sure all the kids would have homes and land handed to them. I woke her up. Told her to look to her future. that a fib told 10 years in the past was doing her harm. “Wake up”. so she walked out vowing to prove me wrong. and she found out I was not lying. she changed her outlook but told me I was wrong for telling the truth as it hurt. and I told her straight she was 20 time to grow the hell up, My truth may have hurt in the short term but the lie if not addressed was going to make all of them hurt for a very long time.. there was no land for them. too bad. they had to work and buy their own. her Mum used to nag her dad about business money all the time. he had in fact got a loan from a brother and the repayments were the trigger.. (what’s this) land for the kids.
