This is an issue that horrifies me beyond belief and always has, not least because I know that there is so very little that I can do about it except be horrified... but it heartens me that there are men who find it equally offensive, and although women are not completely powerless, the reality is that in such places men's rules are the only rules, therefore it will be men who change things. I wish it were not so. I can't conceive of a situation in which it might be otherwise.
Essentially, I am proud to know men who are as upset by the plight of women around the world as women are.
