Here I lay. Or lie, or lie. Give me the truth I am due to?
Out damned erotene, why are you there, or their or they're; but you, two,
have made the miskate of laying the blame
not on the writer who wrote me:
but lay it on me for I am the poem
I am the words and I am the rhyme
I am the rhythm, the metre, the form
I am the verse of my own self born.
If I am in error the error is mine
Blame not the poet.
Sublime.

i'm also presuming mistake is wrong on porpise?
i checked out erotone and found nothing, i thought it meant space, but could discover if i were right or wrong.
i wouldn't or should i say can't see anything i'd change if erotene and miskate are meant to be. i enjoyed it as a nice little bit of doodling with and about spelling mistakes. and word intent
just an aside;
you name looks like it's part of the body of the poem.
thanks for the read.
Its a bit of an apologia to you which I wrote after the red letters! Yes, all spelling mistakes debilerate. Eroteme? I am glad you asked.
I have a tendency to blame the poet not the poem; but that is what I expect other critics to do with my efforts. My wife is my greatest critic, in all things, but I have tried to tell her it is not me; it is the poem speaking. This does not work.
Best,
Tectak
