I got my resistol straw hat at a salvation army thrift store for ten dollars. it was in good shape except that the wire in the brim that lets you form it had gotten broken at the front which made the sides droop in a very uncowboy fashion. I bought it and stitched a four inch hunk of wire under the brim. still works fine. also got a straw vaquero-sombrero, a cooper class e hard hat, one of those aussie things that some cousin gave me which works just fine but needs venting, and...

p.s. wichita falls? well, there's your problem right there. hell, that's more okie than texas.

p.p.s. your right, sam houston used 'texians' and he was an illegal alien.
