On Christmas Day we ate in a mess
(One I didn't clear up, I confess)
In torn paper we wallowed
(Some that we swallowed)
But, we managed it never-the-less.
On Christmas Day we ate in a Mess
An Officers' Club I'd say at a guess
But I'd drunk so much punch
I sicked up all my lunch
And somehow found myself in a dress.
And found myself in a state of undress Edit
