According to Assange (as discussed in the article), there are apparently costs involved in the publishing arrangements they made with certain media organizations. Maybe in getting editors for the documents or something? Hardly worth millions of dollars though. Perhaps what's mainly eating up their budget are the costs of Assange's legal defense (against the rape charge and extradition).
