According to founder Julian Assange: "The blockade has cost the organization tens of millions of dollars of lost donations at a time of unprecedented costs resulting from publishing alliances in over 50 countries with over 90 media and human rights organizations." In its currents state, Wikileaks may be shutting its doors by the end of the year.
Assange says the organization will have to stop publishing leaks and focus its effort on solicitation and fighting the blockades.
