i think it depends what POV is being used. a pedo in the usa i think had his book about the subject removed from amazon and i think he was tried for writing it. in it he offered the idea that children enjoy being sexually molested. for me the guy should be shot.
on the other hand, if a person is writing about how it affected them it ma just make one pedo sit up and think. if it's a journalistic account, then i think it does provide us with knowledge, we can get some small insight, i was molested as a kid but i'd never dream of reading or buying such a book, others on the other hand may find solace in the fact others have been through the same thing as them. people are funny animals at the best of times. i can never understand why people read love stories. addy's sister who's a lit major can't read enough of them, no war and peace shite for her. but lots of mrs melrose meets the gardener and his son
