Stag parties

one of my friends in majorca looked out of the window and saw the pool was beneath us, he jumped out of the window (3rd floor) and into the pool, breaking his back. i never saw the submerged island in it.

for many youmg people on holiday it's about breaking out. i doubt it's just the stag party scene. most times i've been top spain i've seen the same thing, guys puking and pissing in public. mooning on tables etc. in many clubs they actively encourage such behaviour, specially in ibiza where they fill the club with foam halfway through the night. it how the resorts make their money; by getting people drunk, if everyone stayed nice and sober they'd be more upset i'm sure.

Well actually Ibiza has recently tried remodelling itself as a place for families, though of course that doesn't stop the stag and hen parties. I'm probably just a mean old killjoy but I kind of despise this excessive behaviour where Brits, whether they're kids flying free from the nest or grooms and brides on their last nights of freedom, feel they can go anywhere they like and rip up a local community, treating places which people call home as their own personal toilet.
What happened to your friend by the way? He wasn't crippled for life or anything was he?
